A few weeks ago a dear friend of mine changed her address. She is no longer a part of this world but she rests in the loving hands of Jesus. Anne touched the lives of everyone God placed within her sphere of influence. Throughout her life, and even through her battle with cancer, Anne was a true testimony of God's grace.
Anne's life was an offering. She used every moment to leave a legacy. She radiated a heart of worship and adoration for Jesus and praised His name - no matter what! I am reminded of Anne each time I hear the lyrics of Nicole Nordeman's song, "Legacy."
I want to leave a legacy
How will they remember me?
Did I choose to love?
Did I point to You enough
To make a mark on things?
I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace
who blessed your name unapologetically
And leave that kind of legacy.
How will they remember me?
Did I choose to love?
Did I point to You enough
To make a mark on things?
I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace
who blessed your name unapologetically
And leave that kind of legacy.
Anne chose to love and she pointed to God with every moment of her life. Now I find myself challenged to live and love well, and to ask, "How will they remember me?"
To Think About: What kind of legacy will you leave? Is your heart filled with love? Do you point to Jesus enough? Is your life an offering? How will they remember you?
Sweet Blessings,
LeAnn

Lord hear my prayer! Have mercy on me a sinner. In the quiet of the day, speak! Here I am, listening... Fill me with Your wisdom and love; give me the strength to follow and do Your will leaving Your LEGACY! Glory to your Holy NAME! AMEN!
